DSTRKT DEPT was born in a bedroom in Stockholm, where a 17-year-old boy was cutting up old magazines, messing with a broken Canon camera, and chasing a feeling he couldn’t explain.

One night, he printed a raw photo — unfiltered, mid-moment — and slapped cut-out letters over it: DSTRKT DEPT. It wasn’t planned. It just hit. That image became a t-shirt. That t-shirt became a movement.

Alexis sold the first batch from his backpack. No budget, no hype — just grit and instinct. The brand grew from stairwell photoshoots, DIY drops, and a refusal to follow anyone’s rules. People connected not just with the clothes, but with the story: honest, chaotic, and unapologetically real.

Today, DSTRKT DEPT is still based in Stockholm, but it’s grown into a full streetwear label — rooted in youth, built on rebellion. Every piece reflects where it came from: cracked concrete, loud thoughts, late nights.
